Dedicated “O” Negative Blood Donor – Mr. John deGraft Baiden

IMG_2938Mr. John deGraft Baiden is a staff of St. Francis Xavier Hospital, Assin Foso, in the Central Region. He has received commendation from many for his immense contribution towards saving lives and helping reduce maternal deaths in the Assin District(Municipal). He has voluntarily donated over 124 times  since 1977 to save lives of pregnant mothers or women in labour.
He was once voted as the Best Blood Donor in Ghana in the 3rd National Blood Donors Day in December 2002.
The latest donation made was  on 7th June, 2016.
Mr. John deGraft Baiden has received citations from the St. Francies Xavier Hospital, District (Municipal) Health Directorate, Ministry of Health, Cape Coast and the National Blood Bank, Korle Bu Accra.
